It makes me think sweet and floaty thoughtsġ0. This album might not be as immediately catchy as some of Kayoko’s previous releases but it might be one of my favourites. I met Haru Nemuri irl this year and she’s super nice and cool, also this album is goodĪ moody, witchy album, perfect for autumn I still sort of miss this era of BiS, the Re:Stupid line-up was really really good Zennshi Zennou is good too, but it’s a bit too long and doesn’t pack quite the same punch as this miniīiS sure has gone through a lot of changes this year, it feels like ages ago that this album was released. I re-listened to this after mainly listening to their major debut for a while and was shocked at how much better this is. Milkyway’s brand of teenage edginess is somehow endearing to me, also their songs are catchy Jigoku de aetara kiss shite ne - Milkyway I enjoyed The Guerrilla Bish a lot, but I feel like Giant Killers is a much more coherent experienceġ6. This is maybe the best Gang Parade has ever been and I think they can reach even greater heights (lol) so long as Watanabe doesn’t fuck them over GANG PARADE takes themselves higher!! - GANG PARADE Masshiro na mono wa yogoshitakunaru - Keyakizaka46ġ8. PASSEPIED tried some new stuff here that I feel worked really well, and the mini album format makes this a breeze to listen to (compared to their full length albums which tend to drag on a bit)ġ9. 2017 had a lot of good music and there’s still a ton of stuff I haven’t listened to yet, but here’s a list of my favourite (Japanese) albums this year!
